Interim, LCAD, March 2011
Its that time of year again! Leeds College of Art alumni returning to battle on there old stomping ground for one last (official) time. Interim, the exhibition is held in the vernon street building and invites ex fine art foundation students back two years down the line from whence they left. Everyone have obviously been dispatched to various institutions around the country, and have to send proposals to the judging panel who will choose the best pieces/ most appropriate/ most viable pieces of work by the 24th of January. The judging panel is as revered as the institutions involved Sean Kaye ( Foundation Leader of Fine Art @ LCAD) Peter Liversidge (London Based artist represented by the Ingleby Gallery Edinburgh) and Ceri Hand (Director of the Ceri Hand Gallery Liverpool). Some of the students will be coming from Glasgow School of Art, The Slade, Goldsmiths London and hopefully Edinburgh. I have started to write up a proposal with Francesca Garvey and entering it over the next week or so, fingers crossed there will be an update on this exhibition later!
